" Oh, dear madam, my father-in-law, the king, says I must get three golden hairs from the Devil's head, " said the boy, " else I cannot remain married to his daughter. "
" Hmmm, " said the old woman, and put down her knitting.
" You are asking for a lot, and if the Devil comes home and finds you here, he will eat you.

She waved the strand of knitting at him and turned him into an ant.
