Jack Madden set off for Knockgrafton, and sat down beside it.
Soon he heard the sound of the fairies singing.
Jack Madden was in a hurry to be rid of his hump, and joined in straightaway.
He was a greedy fellow, who thought that if he sung louder, he might get two new suits of clothes instead of Lusmore's one.
He bawled away as loudly as he could, almost shouting out the fairies in his eagerness to be heard.
Just as he expected, Jack madden was taken inside the mound and surrounded by fairies.
The fairies were angry with Jack Madden.
