　" What do you want ? " asked the hound.

  " I am looing for a hound, to hunt a deer, to swim some water, to wet a stone, to sharpen an ax, to cut a rod, to make a gibbet, " replied Munachar.

  " You won't get me, " said the hound, " unless you can get some butter to put in my claw. "

  Munchar went to look for butter.

  " What do you want ? " asked the butter.

  " I am looking for some butter to put in the claw of a hound, to hunt a deer, to swim some water, to wet a stone, to sharpen an ax, to cut a rod, to make a gibbet, " replied Munachar.

  " You won't get me, " said the butter, " unless you can get a cat who can scrape me. "

  So Munachar went to look for a cat.
