The Merchant of Venice (11) [The Merchant of Venice]

The Merchant of Venice (11)

The Scottish lord was no better.
he began to agree with the English baron, and Portia told them both to leave.

The german duke was worst of all because he was drunk all the time. Portia thought that at his best, he was worse than a man, and at his worst, he was little better than an animal.
She hopeed that he would not ask to choose one of the boxes, for if he chose the right one, she would have to marry him.

However , none of these men were brave enough to choose on eof the boxes.
They thought the risk were too big.
